Domestic coffee purchase price
Price paid to coffee growers by the FNC for each load of 125 kilograms of dry parchment coffee. It is a support price, that is, that defends income of coffee growers in adequate terms (federaciondecafeteros.org/static/files/precio_cafe.pdf).

Infestation percentage
Method to know the amount of CBB present in a hectare of coffee. It is determined by counting the randomly chosen branches of 30 coffee trees.
Pod
Cushion of roasted, ground coffee, vacuum packed in a controlled atmosphere that allows brewing a single-dose drink, preserving the aroma and flavor attributes until opening the package.

National Coffee Park
Located in Montenegro, Quindío, the park is a foundation led by the FNC and the Quindío Coffee Growers Committee that brings visitors closer to the coffee culture and provides healthy recreation.
Pancoger
Crops that satisfy part of the food needs of a given population. In coffee regions, pancoger crops are corn, beans, cassava, and bananas, among others.
Other milds
Also known as Central American milds, they include most of the Central American coffees, as well as that of Mexico, along with some Southeastern Asian countries’. All these coffees are Arabicas, mostly washed.
