The scientific research and technological development that the FNC offers to coffee growers through the National Coffee Research Center (Cenicafé) allows them to have improved seed varieties that are more productive, resistant to diseases and better adapted to climate variability, best practices of soil conservation, agroforestry, integrated management of weeds, monitoring and recording of climatic variables, technification of the crop, integrated management of pests and diseases, water saving and first developments of assisted harvest, among other issues of the crop.
